The Mussoorie Mountain Festival 2017 will be an offering of the Hanifl Centre for Outdoor and Environmental Study. Founded in 2003, the Hanifl Centre was established to extend Woodstock School’s curriculum and to provide a facility and a programme through which students in and from around the world can learn about the Himalaya and develop their skills and knowledge in outdoor education. It continues to do so by celebrating the Himalayan environment through physical activity, art, literature, environmental ethics and leadership training. During the 2017 festival, distinguished authors, photographers, filmmakers, mountaineers and conservationists will come together for panel discussions, story sharing and open dialogue on topics related to the theme of conservation.

Dates for 2017 are May 18-19-20 and the broad theme is “Conservation” as it relates to the Himalaya. The festival begins with a music/cultural event on the evening of May 18th and sessions on the 19th and 20th. Watch this space !!!!!
