IIM Raipur Marathon – Prayaas

Long has IIM Raipur waited to organize its own MARATHON. A marathon to awaken Raipur. An event to make a splash and awaken the state to a cause. IIM Raipur is going to organize a Marathon to spread awareness about the burning issue of open defecation and sanitation in India.
The objective of the Marathon is to create awareness among the masses about the need and importance of cleanliness. The event will also provide a platform for the people to connect with various organizations working for similar causes.
The event will be an 11 km Mini Marathon and 5 Km Dream Run. The Winners will be awarded with lucrative prize money & all the participants will be provided participation certificate along with the event merchandise.
The Marathon will feature people from different walks of life including professional athletes, social activists, NGOs, celebrities, eminent personalities, responsible citizens, students of schools and colleges to bring awareness to the society by covering several miles in the capital of C.G. state.
