After several days of walking around Ho Chi Minh City, I decided to book a spa session in District 10 to unwind.

A local friend recommended Chief Spa, saying it’s less touristy and more focused on quality.

When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was the calm atmosphere. The lighting was soft, and the scent in the room felt soothing. It didn’t feel rushed or noisy like some tourist-area massage shops.

I chose the 90-minute aromatherapy massage with hot stone therapy.

The therapist was professional and consistent. The pressure was just right, especially on the shoulders and lower back. When the warm stones were placed on my back, I could literally feel the tension releasing.

What I appreciated most:

Private treatment room

Clean and quiet environment

Complimentary tea after the session

Compared to some places in District 1, this felt more authentic and less commercial.

Would I go back again?
Yes.
