10 Songs for Your Outdoorsy Playlist
What’s a road trip without travel music? This season, as you head out to explore the great outdoors, tune in to free spirited notes of some of the best Indian and Western songs. Here’s a playlist of some of our favourite getaway tracks.
1 ) Safarnama – Tamasha
This song leads on to the journey of finding oneself. Safarnama, from the movie Tamasha shows how a journey can make two people fall in love, first with themselves and then with each other. It personally helps me, even while in the city, to free myself from all the stress around and take a break from a hectic schedule.
2) Rockabye – Clean Bandit ft. Sean Paul & Anne- Marie
Rockabye is a high spirited track, that gives a lovely message of how a single mother nurtures her child and assures all happiness in her share. Well, to you this may sound sad but the happy beats of the track will rock your mood. It is a part of my playlist because it depicts happiness through struggles.
3) Love You Zindagi – Love you Zindagi
The title track of the movie love you Zindagi makes me fall in love with my life every time I hear it. This songs makes everything around me look beautiful. It gives me a sense of freedom and happiness.
4) Jiya Re Jiya Re – Jab Tak Hai Jaan
Jiya re Jiya re, from the movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a vibrant track full of positive energy and vivaciousness. It gives me a beautiful message that, I am the creator of my happiness and only I can make it happen. So flap your wings and fly high.
5) Cheap Thrills – Sia
We don’t really need dollar bills to have fun, all we need is to travel. If, I want to add fun to my outdoorsy vacation, then cheap thrills is my starter track. It conveys a beautiful message, that money can’t buy happiness. You can be broke in the outdoors but oh so happy.
6) Something Just Like This – The Chainsmokers
The Chainsmokers, are a blessing to my playlist, creating the best positive beat tracks. Something Just Like This, is the only one track that makes me feel sane, even though my thoughts are insane. It creates a beautiful illusion in my head, of the world being upside down. The Chainsmokers being my absolute favourite, are a must on my outdoorsy playlist.
7) Kho Gaye Hum Kahan – Baar Baar Dekho
Get lost in the midst of clear skies with the breeze running through your hair. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, from the movie Baar Baar Dekho makes me realise how colourful the world is. The lyrics of the track remind me, that the world is filled with lots of opportunities to be happy and make others happy.
8) Summer – Calvin Harris
Let’s summer it Calvin style. I don’t really need summer to enjoy this song. Summer, by Calvin Harris creates a fun vibe. It is definitely an ‘Add to my playlist’ track because it gives me, a feeling of being on a chilled vacation . It makes me enjoy my heart out.
9) Khaabon Ke Parindey – Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Let’s all escape in the clouds of dreams. Khaabon ke parindey, from the movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara makes me want to travel the world, without caring about any obstacles. It creates my connection with nature, every time I play it. It motivates me to live my dreams.
10) The Nights – Avicii
The nights by Avicii motivates me, every time I feel low and is definitely a perfect way to end my outdoorsy nights. It pulls me through all the bad times and helps me to feel happy and free. It reminds me of all the positive things that we have learnt since childhood.
