Trip 360˚ Introduces ‘Mission Extreme’ With Satyarup Siddhanta

For those who like pushing the boundaries and seeking adventure that we seldom hear about, here’s an event we are sure you would like to follow. Trip 360˚ organised an Expert talk to enable budding mountaineers to climb the most aspirational peaks in the world: the 7 Summits. Mountaineer Satyarup Siddhanta shared his experiences at an intimate gathering of adventure enthusiasts about his successful ascent to Carstensz Pyramid (4,884 m), Papua province of Indonesia. This was organised on 26th Aug at the Institute of Hotel Management in Bengaluru.

Carstensz Pyramid is the highest summit of Mount Jayawijaya in the Sudirman Range of the western central highlands of Papua Province, Indonesia.

Getting there is one of the most unimaginable tasks. Satyarup shared his experience of meeting the dangerous tribes of the area and traversing the deadly terrain via a mini-movie encapsulating the entire Mission Extreme.

Speaking about the event, Rohan Prakash, Business Head, Trip 360˚ said,”We were happy to organise this event and listen to the remarkable journey of Satyarup from the moment he set out to become a mountaineer till he actually reached the summit. What was most heartening was to see the audience rapt in attention. His talk truly inspired the adventurers to attempt a climb to the most difficult summits of the world.”

Very few people know that Satyarup was an asthmatic patient. He was also allergic to several food types growing up. But once he set his mind to overcome these obstacles, destiny set a path for him and he was led to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute to become a certified mountaineer. Exercise, a strong will power and the right kind of food in his regime made it possible for him to achieve his dreams. Its been a tough journey since but a happy one, what with Mount Everest, Mount Kosciuszko in Australia, Mount Blanc in France among several others. At the Trip 360˚ event, it was also unveiled  that Satyarup will attempt a summit to Vinson Massif, the highest mountain of Antarctica in the following years.

With the Vinson Massif summit it would complete the 7th and the last remaining summit for him. It would mean that Trip 360˚’s expert Satyarup Siddhanta will be the first person from West Bengal to climb all the seven summits of the world.

Besides executing extreme expeditions, Trip 360˚ also has few of its most unique adventure trips coming up including ‘Nepal beyond EBC’ that takes you on unforgettable trekking experiences covering treks to Ghorepani Poon Hill, Langtang-Gosainkunda, Dhaulagiri Base Camp, the Annapurna Circuits and the ‘Hornbill Festival Motorcycling Trip’ where you explore Kaziranga, Kohima hornbill festival and Guwahati.
